AMD Prevention

The most common cause of blindness later in life in the developed world is Macular Degeneration.

It is now possible to predict the risk of this condition early, in fact, the earlier the better, as damage to the retina which leads to this debilitating condition has been detected as early as teenage years. The MacuScope is a non-invasive test that measures how much macular pigment is present in the eye. Macular pigment is a protective mechanism that we get through our diet. You can read more about the risk factors here. SightRisk provides a risk assessment for both Macular Degeneration and also for Cataracts.

MacuShield is a supplement derived from plants that help to build up macular pigment to their highest possible levels. To purchase MacuShield, click here.
