We have upgraded our website to a Content Management System.

Rather than a static website, this means our site is constantly evolving and being updated. It allows us to easily add new articles containing information about eyes, testing, ocular health, and other related topics.

Registration on our website is free. The advantage of registering is that it gives access to Web only promotions, and also downloads of our newsletters. Periodically, we will also send emails which should be of interest to you. We are very concerned about your personal information and will never share your details with any other company or individuals. There is an option on the home page to register your details. Once registered, a new menu section called User Menu will appear, allowing you to modify your details, log out, and also access to any spcial promotions exclusive to website users.

There is a menu system to the left allowing quick and easy access to different parts of our site. You can access web links (links to places we think are interesting or about our suppliers), frequently asked questions and informative articles.

If you find the text of this website too small, (or too large!), you can alter it simply. If you look to the top right of the page, there are three letter A's. Clicking on the middle one will revert the text size back to the original size. Clicking the larger one to the left will increase the size, while clicking the smaller one to the right will decrease the size.

Philip Major has a very special interest in the condition Age Related Macular Degeneration, and is a member of the Macular Pigment Research Group. For this reason, a lot of this website will contain information about this very important subject. This condition is the most common cause of blindess later in life in the Western world.
