Glasses that can help to interpret facial expressions are being experimented with at the moment. If you have seen the TV show Lie To Me, then you will have an idea what I am talking about.

However, these have more down to earth aspirations … helping people with conditions such as autism, who often have problems interacting with others, to interpret the reactions of those around them.
